 | That's me, your friendly neighborhood baker. As long as I can remember all I've really wanted to do was bake delicious pastries. I always opted for cooking shows instead of cartoons when I was a kid and I liked to play "bakery" with my play kitchen. As soon as I could work I got a job in a kitchen washing dishes and shamelessly talked up my baking skills until I was allowed to put them to use. Eight years later, I've finally decided it's time to open my own shop. I've had lots of gigs baking for other folks. Some were really great, some were just.....well, character building. Anywho, all of a sudden all the pieces were in place and with loads of help and support from my family and friends we've decided to launch a little project we've decided to call White Rabbit Bakery. Why White Rabbit? It's all about following your dreams and the way life gets indisputably curiouser and curiouser..... So here we are in Aurora a cute little town in need of a cute little bakery. In short, we love to bake and see it as our ministry to bring a little comfort to folks who are missing it in the form of sweet warm buttery sugary fresh and decadent delectables. That's Oz. My right hand man. He's new to this baking business (like a few months new) and already he's better at it than I am. You might spot him slingin' lattes and whistling while he works in the wee small hours of the morning at White Rabbit. He also makes sure I turn the oven off at the end of the night. |  |
